What a beautiful exhibition we had last night! Our 1st grade scientists spent time these past 2 weeks finishing up their matter activity donation boxes and preparing to share their learning with our community during exhibition. I was so proud hearing scientists teaching visitors all about solids, liquids, and gases...and it was so delightful to watch our audience interact with matter at our chalk, playdough, and bubbles stations. I also want to thank you for helping to make our exhibition so wonderful. I noticed so many families visiting with their child and then moving around the rooms to talk to other scientists...helping to get a full picture of our matter learning.
Due to privacy policies at The Monarch School, students were not able to go with us to make the actual donations of their boxes. Ms. Fox, Ms. Magoon, and I went after school today and made the donations on their behalf. The Monarch School was so impressed with the care that went into each box and knew that their students would have so much fun playing with the matter activities.
Check out some pictures below of scientists creating their boxes, sharing their learning at exhibition, and our donation today!
